Mostyn Avenue, Llandudno

Luxury Apartments

Pure Blue is a development of thirty two apartments and five town houses, completed by MacBryde Homes in 2004.

The site falls within the Mostyn Avenue Conservation Area, close to Craig-y-don local shopping centre. Set immediately to the south of the promenade the east boundary of the site is defined by the significant presence of St Paul’s Church, a grade II listed Victorian stone building. A new four storey residential building offering retirement apartments lies immediately to the north.

Pure Blue comprises three separate buildings set close to the back of pavement to reinforce the established urban forms of the promenade, the town centre and Craig-y-don local centre. The form of the buildings along the south and west boundaries creates an enclosed landscaped courtyard and within this, formal parking is provided in a formal layout of tree planting.

The apartments provide open plan living spaces with a minimum of two bedrooms. Top level apartments incorporate mezzanine decks within the roof space which significantly increase the accommodation. The town houses have individual garden spaces separating them from the main road, with front doors and integral garages fronting the central courtyard.
